What does “Claim my spot” mean?

It makes your free RightPlace account now, before we open. Anyone can do it. You’re a regular guest, just early: you can sign in, try everything in the beta, and keep your account when RightPlace launches.

What do founding members get?

Early access to the beta, a Founding member badge that stays on your profile, and rewards for helping us perfect RightPlace: trying features, telling us what’s broken or confusing, sharing ideas, and inviting friends. Rewards are points you can use at places on RightPlace: 1,000 when a restaurant you referred joins, 250 when a friend you invited makes their first visit, 100 for each visit through RightPlace, and points for wait reports, reviews and specials. Joining and exploring earn some too.

Yes. RightPlace sends tickets to your kitchen and your register takes payment like always, whether you use Toast, Square, Clover or something else.
