What the line sees
- Each ticket shows the table, the guest's first name and last initial, the items and any notes.
- Allergies show in red on the ticket.
- Received and Filled buttons, with Undo. The door sees when food is started and when it is ready.
- For guests on the way: when they said they'd arrive and when food should be ready.
- The sold-out (86) board: tap an item and servers, the host stand, the door TV and your RightPlace page all show it sold out.
- Notes from the door, like "table 12 is celebrating a birthday".
- Screens update on their own. Nobody hits refresh.
No kitchen hardware to buy
Use any tablet or laptop with a web browser, and put it wherever the line can see it. Other kitchen display systems sell their own screens; see what they charge on the cost page.
Kitchen tickets, not sales
RightPlace tickets tell the kitchen what to cook. The sale still goes on your register, and RightPlace keeps a list of tickets that haven't been rung in yet, so none get missed.
